Uncontrollable Bladder
Heavy incontinence usually means the person, for no reason, will urinate or have a sudden urge to urinate. Most people with this problem have inappropriate muscle contractions in the pelvic area. The medical field considers this bladder as unstable or overactive. It may also be called a reflex incontinence if it stems from overactive nerves in control of the bladder.
People with urge incontinence can suffer from enuresis (urinating while asleep) or immediately after drinking a small amount of liquid, or from the sensation of touching water or hearing water (as when washing dishes or hearing someone else taking a shower).
Involuntary loss of bladder muscles and the need for an adult diaper can be caused by a variety of things, some of the most common are neuro damages to the spinal cord, brain, or muscles. Multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s, strokes, Parkinson’s, or spinal injuries are among the leaders in causing the bladder to urinate automatically without control. Many people suffer from this embarrassing problem, there are sites that offer adult diapers (reusable and disposable) to help the wearer find the best solution for him or herself.
